We are Troop 145 of the Boy Scouts of America, sponsored by the Acton Community Club.

Our meetings are held every Thursday from 7:00 to 8:30 pm, at the Acton Community Club.

The current membership is 25 Scouts, 4 assistant Scoutmasters and various Committee Members. We believe that a smaller Troop provides a better opportunity for the Scouts to excel.

We encourage you to visit and ask that your parents visit with you.

Scouting is a great opportunity to learn about outdoor skills, leadership, community, faith and yourself

Our troop does activities like rock climbing, camping, rifle shooting, canoeing, swimming, and more!

We also have regular meetings where we practice for our outings by doing first aid, wilderness survival, and earn ranks. If you join our troop you can run for leadership positions and influence where we go and what we do. The adults aren't in charge, the scouts are.

A boy can be a Boy Scout if he has completed the fifth grade, is 11 years old, or if he has earned the Arrow of Light Award [Cub Scouting award] and is at least 10 years old, but younger than 18 years old.
